It all started on a quiet, slow morning. The autumn air outside was crisp, steam was gently dancing from my hot coffee mug, and my desk was covered in warm, cozy skeins of yarn—rustic cream, terracotta, soft dusty blue, and deep espresso brown.

I wanted to design something that felt effortless. Not a heavy, overwhelming winter coat, but that perfect handmade layer you throw over a simple white tee before heading out for a walk or relaxing at home with a good book.

A few test swatches, several frogging sessions, and plenty of coffee later... The Retro Cabin Vest was finally born!
